If you’d like to be part of the private group where we can discuss memoir-y things without the whole of Facebook looking on, go to the Facebook group and ask to join. This group is by invitation only, for people who’ve done our workshop or our ecourse, so it’s for motivated people who really want to get serious about writing their life. It will be small initially, and grow over time.
(And yes, we’re sorry that this is no fun for those who prefer to stay away from Facebook, as we definitely agree that’s a valid preference to have! We’ve gone for this option at the moment because it allows us to have a discussion forum without having to charge you a monthly membership fee.)
We both offer personal coaching. Check out our links for more info:
Other handy links
Queensland Writers Centre – you can sign up to their email newsletter for free, and that way you’ll hear about lots of writing competitions you can enter. They also offer some great paid workshops and courses.
Australian Writers Centre – online learning. Tanya did one of their courses and found it very valuable.
Edx – the website where you can take various courses created by universities, for free, and only pay if you want to gain a qualification.
The smart pen for recording your interviews – please do be aware that it’s against the law to record someone without their permission, so it’s important to ask first.
